David Schmader

David Schmader is a writer and performer who’s been living and working in Seattle since 1991. His solo plays include Letter to Axl and Straight, which he’s performed in Seattle and across the U.S. Since 1998, he's been an editor and writer for The Stranger, writing the pop culture and poltics column 'Last Days.' His next solo work, 'A Short-Term Solution to a Long-Term Problem' will premiere at Hugo House in January, directed by Matthew Richter.
