
Erin Leddy
Erin Leddy creates original theatrical works for the stage. For the last 8 years Erin has been a Company Member of Hand2Mouth Theatre, creating, performing and touring new theatre. Through training in and outside of the company, she has learned to make compelling original performance in a variety of styles and lead the company’s actor training. Erin has played a key role in the creation of 14 original H2M productions with a special focus on arranging and composing songs and creating and teaching choreography. Erin received her Bachelor’s degree from Emerson College and worked there with both the radio and theatre departments. "My Mind Is Like An Open Meadow" is her first solo piece.
Erin has toured the work she created with Hand2Mouth to contemporary performance centers and colleges and arts festivals across the Northwest, to San Francisco, New York City, Eastern Europe and Mexico. In 2010 she won her first awards as an individual artist for "My Mind Is Like An Open Meadow" including grants from the Regional Arts and Culture Council, the Oregon Arts Commission, and the William T. Colville Foundation, a commission from Seattle's On the Boards Northwest New Works Festival, and a prestigious residency at Yaddo in Saratoga Springs, New York.
