Gala Bent

Gala Bent

Gala Bent is an enthusiast and a drawing addict. She makes drawing-centric installation, work on paper and animation. Gala was born in Michigan, raised in Indiana, schooled in New York and now lives in Washington with her husband, fellow artist Zack Bent, and three young sons. Since living in Seattle, Gala has been a recipient of the GAP grant, a 4Culture individual artist grant and a CityArtist grant. As such, she is deeply grateful to live in a city that champions the arts.

Upcoming exhibitions include G.Gibson Gallery (Seattle) and Ampersand International (San Francisco). Gala was selected to be a Jordan Schnitzer Printmaking resident this October at the Sitka Center for Art and Ecology in Oregon. For more information, visit GalaBent.com
