Joseph Giant

Songwriter Joe Syverson (he performs under the moniker Joseph Giant) has been playing music for over 15 years. Hailing from the small town of Maple Valley, just 40 minutes outside of Seattle, WA, Joe has lent his talents to many music projects over the years. Some of his more recent and notable projects include Throw Me The Statue (Secretly Canadian), Pearly Gate Music (Barsuk Records), and Final Spins.

This album is not only Joe’s self-titled solo debut, but nearly all elements—vocals, guitar, bass, drums, and more—of the tracks are performed by Joseph Giant. This record has been referred to as “rootsy and rough-and-tumble,” and Joe says it’s “inspired by trucker country.” While the live show and record experience are distinctly different, both are compelling as proven by the consistently positive media reviews, as well as the continued support of a growing audience that seems to have been longing for this sound for some time now.
