Singer-songwriter Kris Orlowski’s new folk-rock sound is turning heads. Drawing comparisons of Paul Westerberg and Elliot Smith, the band’s spring release meshing folk and classic string quartet arrangements has got the band buzzing.  With the recent addition of new banjo/pedal steel/guitarist Mark Isakson (Kate Tucker & the Sons of Sweden), keys/glockenspiel/vocalist Torry Anderson (Washington Mile) and seasoned drummer Aaron O’Neil (Painted Hills, Devotion), they are developing new material for release in time for City Arts.
