Lindsey Apodaca

Lindsey Apodaca was born on the living room floor in the summer of 1986 on Bainbridge Island.

Her earliest memories involve crawling through piles of old People magazines and making beds out of her grandmother's kimonos.

As a toddler, she was prone to extended bouts of seclusion. Perhaps it was in these formative years that she preened her obsessive tendencies.

After barely graduating from Cornish College of the Arts in 2008, Lindsey works from her pillow-top, queen-size bed, editing her heaping collections. She arranges, constructs and alters her belongings in order to better understand her relationship to each of them.
