The collection of images used in Chase Jarvis' recent project, Seattle 100: Portrait of a City, come to life in a fine art gallery. Viewers are brought intimately close to the subjects with no interference. Read short bios about each person and see how each person is largely defining the growing culture of the city, the region, and in some cases, the world. The Book
Seattle 100: Portrait of a City is the culmination of a two-year personal project by renowned photographer, filmmaker and social artist Chase Jarvis. Both a creative project and an insightful ethnography, Seattle 100 shares – via stunning black-and-white portraits and biographies of each of its subjects – a curated collection of leading artists, musicians, writers, scientists, restaurateurs, DJs, developers, activists, entrepreneurs, filmmakers, and more, all of whom are defining and driving culture in Seattle.
