Lingo Productions joins forces with haute couture trendsetter and curator Jill Donnelly, who has been expanding Seattle’s fashion imagination for over 20 years at her iconic boutique, Baby&Co. Together they will create an immersive party/spectacle – an evening of high fashion and live music that centers around adornment, personal aesthetics and how we choose to present ourselves to the world. Emerald City is part of Collision Theory – a 12-month performance series for audiences from one to hundreds. A core group of performers collaborate with genre-specific artists to create a series of interconnected events – dinners, films, letters, fashion show, visual art, music and dance – culminating in a final performance installation. Niehoff’s artistic intent is to entangle an audience over a substantial period of time so they feel a deep connection to the work, invest in its culture and co-create through sharing their own experiences.
